Education Abroad Internships

Are you interested in helping other students study abroad in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region? Perhaps you are hoping to break in to the field of International Education or gain experience working in an internationally-focused non-profit organization.

Interns in AMIDEAST’s Education Abroad department are fundamental members of a dynamic team. Composed of International Education professionals who are dedicated to building cross-cultural communication between the U.S. and the MENA region, the department offers internships throughout the academic year.

Resumes, Cover Letters, and Interviews

Many students say that study abroad was the most significant part of their college career. Employers agree – graduates with a study abroad experience under their belt are often more competitive in the job market than their colleagues who did not study abroad. We have put together resources to ensure that AMIDEAST alumni are able to effectively showcase everything that they've learned from their experiences in the Arab world.

Continue your Education

There are a large number of grants and scholarships available for AMIDEAST alumni wishing to continue their education in the Middle East and North Africa region. We have compiled a number of resources that will hopefully jump-start the process of finding and applying for these grants.

Receiving Grades from AMIDEAST

After the end of an AMIDEAST Education Abroad program, the on-site AMIDEAST Education Abroad staff sends final course grades to AMIDEAST Headquarters. Students are issued either an AMIDEAST grade report or a transcript from AMIDEAST’s School of Record.

Welcome home!

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all students who have completed an AMIDEAST Education Abroad program. Few students choose to study abroad in the Middle East or North Africa, and those who choose to do so form a community of intelligent and adventurous individuals. Thank you for being a part of AMIDEAST’s larger mission to help develop mutual understanding between Americans and the people of the Middle East and North Africa.
