Kouribga Skills 2017 : appel à projets pour l’accompagnement des Entrepreneurs, Auto-Entrepreneurs et Startup :

Dans le cadre du programme de développement de la TPE et startup, AMIDEAST lance un appel à candidature dédié à l’accompagnement des entrepreneurs et startup dans leurs processus de création et développement d’entreprises.


Durant 12 mois, les jeunes sélectionnés bénéficieront :

·      d’un accompagnement renforcé par mentors et experts,

·      d’un espace de coworking,

·      d’un écosystème innovant,

·      d’un programme d’accélération adapté au besoin,


La sélection se fera sur étude de dossier, remplir sur place au centre KHOURIBGA SKILLS, puis sur la base de la décision d’un comité d’experts et entrepreneurs.


Vous êtes porteur de projet ou entrepreneur, vous avez entre 18 et 40 ans et ce programme vous intéresse ? Vous pouvez déposer vos candidatures d’aujourd’hui et jusqu'au 15 mars 2017.

English Training for Mission Contacts – Iraq

In 2016, AMIDEAST, along with its sub grantee provided tailored English language training for around 500 key contacts from the American Embassy and Consulates in Iraq. The Program entitled “English for Mission Contacts” is funded by the U.S. Embassy in Iraq.


English Training for Antiquities Professionals, Iraq

Sponsors: University of Delaware

Since 2011, AMIDEAST has been providing tailored English language training to employees of the Iraqi Institute for the Conservation of Antiquities and Heritage (IICAH) with funding from the University of Delaware’s Iraq Cultural Heritage Fund. These trainings are vital for sharpening the skills of Iraqi antiquities professionals as they work to preserve Iraqi cultural heritage.

Arab Women's Entrepreneurship Project (AWEP)

The Arab Women’s Entrepreneurship Project (AWEP) is a Citi Foundation-funded initiative, implemented by AMIDEAST in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Morocco.  In each country 20 women will be selected to participate in the program and receive:

15 Days of training on business skills, conducted in Arabic, on topics such as:

  • What makes a successful entrepreneur
  • How to register a business in Lebanon
  • How to fund a new business or business growth
  • How to assess risk and feasibility
  • Strategic planning
  • Accounting and cash flow
  • Customer service
  • Sales skills

Le parcours des coopératives au sein du centre Khouribga Skills a pour but de soutenir les coopératives existantes pour développer leurs activités et créer de la valeur ajoutée et ce par le biais de l’accompagnement et l’encadrement; et surtout la mise à niveau de leurs compétences en matière de gestion administrative et financière, de promotion et commercialisation de leurs produits et d’affiliation aux réseaux et création de groupement.

The built environment has a profound impact on our natural environment, economy, health, and productivity. Breakthroughs in building science, technology, and operations are now available to designers, builders, operators, and owners who want to build green and maximize both economic and environmental performance.

Hany S. Salem (MSc., LEED AP, PQP)

Mr. Salem is an experienced architect who has been working in Green Building Design and Construction for more than 10 years across the Middle East and North America. He is an active member of many local, regional and international professional organizations related to the building industry and green buildings. He is a LEED AP BD+C / ND and Pearl Qualified Professional (PQP) for Building and Community Rating Systems.

Skills for Success®: Employability Skills for Women is a program supported by the Flemish Department of Foreign Affairs, the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PepsiCo and the Secretariat of the Union for Mediterranean (UfM). This program aims to provide employability skills training to young women in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) who are unemployed secondary-school graduates. The goal is to support a combined total of 450 young women and girls from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, and Tunisia by helping them develop concrete tools and knowledge needed to access local labor markets. 

In Lebanon, the program is endorsed by the Secretariat of the Union for Mediterranean (UfM), PepsiCo, and the AMIDEAST/Lebanon Advisory Board. During the first project phase of its implementation, 90 qualified participants will be selected. Upon selection, the young women will take part in a four-month training program which will include 320 hours of extensive English language training as well as workshops on computer, professional, and job search skills.

To be considered for the Skills for Success® Program, women applicants must:

  • Be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Hold a secondary-school, technical school, or university diploma
  • Be currently unemployed and actively looking for a job
  • Be able to commit fully to the intensive program
