SKILLS FOR SUCCESS AGADIR

AMIDEAST lance le programme de formation Skills For Success au profit de 80 jeunes bénéficiaires à la recherche d’un emploi afin de leur permettre d'acquérir les compétences requises pour faciliter leur accès au marché de l’emploi. .

Skills For Success est un programme de formation qui  vise  les jeunes diplômés de la Formation Professionnelle ou de l’Université dans le but de leur offrir un parcours de formation gratuit permettant d’acquérir les compétences nécessaires pour mieux réussir leur intégration professionnelle. Il s’étale sur 14 semaines et comprend deux axes principaux : un axe linguistique et un axe formation professionnelle.

 

L’axe linguistique consistera à offrir aux jeunes des cours de perfectionnement de la langue anglaise et française.

L’axe formation professionnelle sera réparti sur six modules : Développement Personnel, Communication écrite et orale, Techniques de recherche d’emploi, Gestion de projets, Finance pour non financiers et Compétences Informatiques.

Critères d’éligibilité

Les candidat(e)s doivent :

  • être âgées de 19 - à 30 ans
  • titulaires d'un diplôme universitaire ou des établissements de la Formation Professionnelle ;
  • être actuellement sans emploi et cherchant activement un emploi ;
  • être en mesure de s'engager pleinement dans le programme intensif de 14 semaines ;
  • résider dans le grand Agadir.

Cette formation aura lieu dans les locaux de l’Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion d’Agadir. Le démarrage des cours est prévu fin Janvier 2015, et sera sanctionnée au final par un certificat d’AMIDEAST.

Skills For Success

AMIDEAST offre un programme de formation adapté pour être pertinent et approprié à une cible  exclusivement féminine âgée de 18 à 21 ans. Skills For Success (Compétences d'Employabilité pour Jeunes Femmes Arabes) est un programme de 320 heures, étalées sur 4 mois, qui intègre les compétences personnelles et professionnelles dont les participantes ont besoin pour élargir leurs possibilités d'emploi et augmenter leurs perspectives salariales. Les aires de contenu comme les compétences de communication, la prise de décision, et les stratégies de recherche d'emploi seront en grande partie basées sur les perspectives des femmes et les réalités qu'elles rencontrent dans le lieu de travail d'aujourd'hui. Le programme comprend également des études de cas, des lectures, et des intervenants extérieurs pour mettre en évidence les défis et les possibilités pour les femmes dans différents secteurs.

Avalisé par l'Union pour la Méditerranée (UpM), Skills For Success consiste en 180 heures d'anglais pour le milieu de travail, 50 heures de formation en informatique, 50 heures de formation en compétences professionnelles, et 40 heures d'ateliers sur les techniques de recherche d'emploi.

Critères d'admission : les candidates doivent:

 

  • Être âgées de 18 - à 21 ans
  • Titulaires d'un diplôme du secondaire ou équivalent
  • Etre actuellement sans emploi et cherchant activement un emploi
  • Être en mesure de s'engager pleinement dans le programme intensif de 4 mois
  • Résider aux environs des villes de Casablanca et/ou Rabat

 

Cette formation aura lieu à Rabat et Casablanca aux alentours de Septembre à Décembre 2014, et sera sanctionnée au final par un certificat d’AMIDEAST.

AMIDEAST offers certified trainings, and most importantly the Project Management Professional course certified by the Project Management Institute. It has the exclusivity for administering the PMP test in Morocco.
 

Type: Seminar combining key concepts and new ones such as the “Project Management Body of Knowledge”: PMBOK Guide- 5th Edition, practical exercises as well as multiple choice mock exam.

Duration: 35 hours of training in 5 days over three weekends (see annual calendar of sessions)
Training in AMIDEAST CASABLANCA.

Hours: 9:00am to 4:30pm with a 30 minute break.
(*) In addition, a 5 hour half day “boot camp” workshop is offered for free prior to each exam.
 

Target Audience: Project Directors, Project Managers, CEO’s, Managers, General Managers, professionals wishing to apply for a PMP Certificate.


Objectives: More than just the training, it is a rewarding experience with personalized coaching geared towards one main goal: Succeeding in your certification.
 

We accompany you before the exam by training based on the most recent PMI material and practice exams. Our assistance doesn’t stop here; we offer a boot-camp prior to each exam to answer your last minute questions, boost your motivation and help you in your final steps towards your success of your PMP certification.

Project Experience:
For holders of a Bachelor or equivalent: minimum of 3 years experience in project management with at least 4,500 hours of project management.
 

Training Fees: 6,000 Dirham’s per person (this price does not include the cost of the PMP exam which is 4,000 Dirham’s per person).


Content:
This offer includes:
- 35 hour training provided by a PMP certified consultant with 12 year industry and IT experience.
- Training manual and documents to help facilitate understanding of each PMBOX module.
- A collection of practical tips on successfully completing the PMP certification.
- 4 quizzes; 1 graded quiz to go over the objectives of the day, assess the level of assimilation of concepts/ principles of the program taught and offer practical style questions during the exam.
- 1 Mock exam with debriefing.
- A 5 hour boot-camp workshop (see schedule below) offered to answer your last-minute questions before the PMP exam.
- Certificate of PMP training that may be claimed by the participant to validate the prerequisite registration test required by PMI.


Background of Consultant: The consultant has been PMP certified since 2009, with management experience in industry and IT services for 12 years. EMI engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Rochester in New York. Certified Workshop Leader by the Simon School of Business (December 2011) attesting the competence of animation workshops in peer-learning and training with experience in project management and CMMI model for a number of clients since 2009.

2013-14 YES Program Civic Education Workshop

American Councils for International Education and the American Civics Center will conduct a week-long Civic Education Workshop for 100 YES students currently studying in the United States from February 23-March 1, 2014, in Washington, DC. Participants of the Civic Education Workshop will be chosen in December through an application process that is open to all YES students currently on program. The Civic Education Workshop is a unique opportunity for YES students to gain hands-on experience with U.S. organizations committed to community service and social change. Participants will take part in a series of events and activities designed to increase their knowledge of U.S. government and build their capacities and commitment to community service when they return to their own countries. Participants will also see first-hand the institutions of American government, including visits to Members of Congress and a dialogue with policy makers at the State Department.

American Councils plans to invite three outstanding YES alumni to take part in the workshop as mentors to current YES students and as ambassadors of the program. Talented and dynamic alumni who have a demonstrable record of community service in their own countries are invaluable role models for YES students as they begin to think about community service back home. By showing a commitment to community service and social change, YES alumni have also proven to be wonderful ambassadors for the program during special meetings at the State Department and with members of Congress.

Transportation to and from the U.S., visa fees, housing and meal costs, as well as per diem will be provided to the three alumni by American Councils.

English Access Microscholarship Program

Since 2004, AMIDEAST Morocco has been running English Access Microscholarship Program classes in Morocco; a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State to benefit Moroccan youth at public secondary schools in Rabat and Casablanca. To date, over a thousand students aged 14-18 have benefited from this two-year scholarship.


Students participate in 360 hours of English language instruction and additional workshops that introduce the youth to American culture, community service, policy issues, and career enhancement resources.
The English language curriculum strengthens English speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills with additional extracurricular activities.

REGIONAL DIGITAL STORYTELLING WORKSHOP

The Regional Digital Storytelling workshop is a five-day, intensive training workshop, which requires your active participation and commitment to becoming a local YES alumni-training resource!

The Workshop is hands-on and enhances and expands participants’ technical skills in video and photography. In today’s multimedia environment, activism and community service require a range of communication and media skills. The workshop will explore time-tested storytelling techniques, focusing on creating accessible messages for both local and international audiences

Objectives: At the close of this Digital Storytelling Workshop, participants will be able to:
• Create multimedia profiles of YES group members
• Work in teams to produce short films about community leaders/YES alumni and their experiences with digital collaboration
• Digitally distribute media through a variety of online platforms and outreach
• Develop plans to share skills learned and continue digital networking/outreach

Eligibility:
 Demonstrated participation in YES alumni activities and community service
 You have not attended an overseas YES alumni event within the past year

Criteria:
 Demonstrated commitment to community service;
 Positive and enthusiastic attitude;
 Demonstrated ability to be flexible and responsible;
 Demonstrated leadership skills or potential;
 Demonstrated commitment to the growth and leadership development of YES alumni and the sustainability of YES alumni networks in your region;
 Open to giving/receiving feedback;
 Team player /ability to collaborate with others outside YES networks;
 Ability to handle challenging situations;
 Able to communicate effectively;
 * Must be willing to commit in training others in your community and promote YES alumni leadership development upon returning home; at least one local training but be held within 4 months of returning from the workshop.
 * Must be willing to create and submit at least 1 digital storytelling product within 4 months of returning from the workshop

If you are selected, please note the following:
 YES will cover the cost of round-trip international travel, visa, accommodation and meals.
 You are responsible for obtaining your visa and any personal costs such as souvenirs or personal travel. iEARN-USA will issue a letter of support for your visa, but we cannot guarantee that the visa will be granted.
